What the heck do we mean by marriage prospects? It's exactly what it sounds like. We examine, in a totally subjective way, the marriageability of the characters of The Lord of the Rings in terms of looks, cooking ability, money, etc. Just click on the Chapters link for a list of characters and prepare to be amazed at how bad most of these people would be in a marriage. But please, don't take anything we say seriously .
Laziness Incarnate started up this thing over at her fanfiction.net account, but then, er, we got booted of ff.net. It happens. We opened up a site at www25.brinkster.com/lotrmarriage, but the server began giving us lots of problems, so now we are located here.
Please note that all of these chapters were written before the Return of the King movie was released. Any and all errors are attributable to this fact.
The Lord of the Rings and all its characters belong to the Tolkien estate and New Line Cinema. The Silmarillion and The Hobbit belong to the Tolkien estate.
The marriage prospects idea originated from a cool website known as Anime Marriage Prospects. Unfortunately, the webmaster for that site no longer seems to be updating or answering e-mail. It's still a fun site if you're into anime.
